Milena Schwager
- President and Executive
Producer
Milena Schwager is the owner of Media Silver, a
television and video production company she founded to create programs of
substance and timeliness for international audiences. She is an
award-winning investigative journalist and a Board Member of the Arab
Broadcast Forum. Milena started reporting from Russia during the fall of
Communism for German and Russian TV networks. In 1987 she began reporting
on political and economic changes in Eastern Europe, and the wars in
Yugoslavia during the 1990s. While working as a news producer for USIA and
CNN in Washington DC, on subjects like President Clinton's impeachment,
women's trafficking and 9/11, she also continued filing stories on
Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and other areas of military, economic and social
conflicts.
In recent years, Milena and Media Silver have specialized in
investigative reporting of social and political issues around the globe.
Her long list of accomplishments as a producer and director includes
"Brides-By-Mail", "Russian Organized Crime" (USIA), "Tax Me If You Can"
(PBS Frontline), "The Need For Speed", Channel4/ ARD
(US Producer), "The American In Mexico"( PBS) and many others. Milena's recent director's work on
the BBC's "Guinea Pig Kids" brought her international recognition.
Milena speaks four languages and has produced and directed
in South America, the Middle East, the US, Russia and Europe.
Milena served on the board of the Washington Film and Video
Council, and is an active member of Women in Film and Video. She is a
member of the National Press Club. |

Marilyn Beery
- Producer and Writer
Marilyn Beery is an award winning writer/producer with over 20 years experience in broadcast news, documentary and cable programming for Discovery Communications, ABC, CBS, FOX and PBS. Recent assignments have included Writer for “Pillars of Hope”,the story of the struggle for women’s rights in Kuwait; and Series Producer for “The Real NCIS” (13 x 60 series, ID Channel, Discovery).
She has done extensive coverage of criminal justice and medical topics, and in 2007-2009, awards included two Silver Tellys, a Freddie, and Freddie & Regional Emmy nominations for programs on Robotic Surgery, Killer Bacteria, Early Onset Alzheimer’s disease, and Myositis. Previous development for NGTV has included stories on the Aryan Brotherhood, lightening strike survivors and “killer bees”. |

John
Greco - Contributing Producer
John Greco is an award-winning news and documentary television
producer. He has worked for Discovery Channel International, and spent six
years at the Washington bureau of NBC, where his last assignment was with
the news division’s Investigative Unit. He covered terrorism and the
government’s campaigns against al-Qaeda and Iraq.
As a producer
for Dateline NBC, John covered the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal, Robert
Hanssen spy investigation, the 9/11 terrorist and anthrax attacks,
Washington-area sniper spree, and other major breaking stories. He has
also produced segments for Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, the Today Show,
and MSNBC.
John has shared the Emmy and other national journalism awards. He
specializes in investigative and hidden-camera reporting. Before joining
NBC, John worked for several documentary companies that produce for PBS.
At Hedrick Smith Productions, he served as research director for a series
on international economic competitiveness. Earlier in his career, John was
active in print journalism.
John earned a master’s at Tufts’
Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and a undergraduate degree at Boston
College and the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England. He serves
as a board member of the Fund for
Peace, a Washington-based NGO. |

James M.
Edwards - Camera
James Mercé Edwards is an independent producer,
and videographer with over twelve years in the field. His
credits range from talk shows for national broadcasters, to web-based
personality profiles for National Public Radio, to award-winning documentary
shorts and exhibits in history, science and natural history for The National
Park Service, The Library of Congress, The Oklahoma City Memorial, The
Smithsonian Museums and others.
Mr. Edwards is fluent is Spanish and
English and speaks a little Catalan on a good day. He has post-graduate
studies in documentary, video, and multimedia production at American
University and George Washington University and is a graduate of Occidental
College (BA '89). |

Rodbell - Contributing Editor
Andy Rodbell is a post-house designer, operational manager and
award-winning video editor with over 25 years of studio production and
online editing experience.
Among the many television honors Andy has earned are the Summit, Golden
Eagle, Telly, Vision and International Monitor awards. His work includes
PBS documentaries, America’s Most Wanted for Fox-TV, travel, history and
animal promos for the Discovery Channel, Learning Channel and Animal
Planet. His work also includes dozens TV commercials. |

Rami Eljundi - Production Manager, UAE
Rami a Jordanian national, who was born in Egypt, is fluent in Arabic, English, Spanish and French.
He is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and is Media Silver’s Production Manager. Rami holds a BA in Media and Journalism
from University of Houston as well as another degree in Chemical Engineering and in Chemistry from the University of Texas in Austin.
Rami’s first job as a journalist started in Houston, Texas. Throughout his career Rami worked and travelled to 45 countries
as a reporter for a numerous UAE based English and Arab newspapers, regional TV and radio stations. |
